A fork, a resilient fighter, and O'Canada

So in this lucid dream, I was in school. It was classes for working adults in the evening. I remember encountering someone as I was trying to leave the classroom. There was about 20 of us in the room and one person was standing between me and the door. He absolutely refused to move. I knew at that moment that he was my opponent. I reached in my pocket and brought out my weapon of choice - a fork. He swung his fists wildly at me and the blows would have landed but; it was my dream so the attacks went right through my frame. While he was busy trying to assault me, I turned the tables with my handy dandy fork. I started by digging into his throat. It was an easy target. It sank into the left side of his windpipe and I forced it deeper for good measure. Using leverage, I tried to pry it out. With a little effort, a chunk of flesh plopped out onto the floor. I don't remember anyone making a fuss over it; must have been a good class. Even without a windpipe, the guy just kept going. I decided to switch tactics and went for large muscle groups. In my hand, the fork was now more like a scalpel as I opened up his chest and legs, exposing bone and muscle. I carve him up like a turkey. When I was done, I the guy laid in pieces, no skin or blood. Just chunks of flesh on the floor. I went into the hallway, forgot why I wanted to leave the room and quickly returned back to my seat.
I stood up when the class was done. Everyone else got up and gathered in their little groups of friends and the volume of the room ballooned. There was a clearing in the middle of the classroom. On the floor, completely away from where I butchered that guy in the previous dream, there were a few small pools of blood. This time it caught the attention of a few, then most, and finally we were all around it. There was speculation but no one knew anything. For some odd reason, Canada's national anthem started to play and we all sang along. Afterwards, the blood was just an afterthought. Was that weird?
