So this lucid dream was really short but here goes. I had a dream that I was at my parents' house for a visit. I walked into the living room and I had a honeybun in my hand. I noticed that there was a pack of honey buns on the couch. I specifically remember buying those honey buns. As I stood there eating the honey bun, my nephew came in. He went over to the pack of honey buns and saw that there was only one left. I told him that it was mine and grabbed the box. I held it over his head. He tried to grab it but he couldn't reach it. My sister was in the room on her phone so she missed this interaction. I told my nephew that all he had to do was asked me for it and he could have it. He stormed out of the room in tears and headed towards the dining room. Apparently my brothers were in the dining room and came in. They expressed how angry they were with me and that I was being greedy. I was still eating the other honey bun when they came in. I told them the point wasn't to be greedy but to teach him a life lesson. I went on a rant about how if he couldn't do this, what would happen when he really needs help. I then asked them, what would I do if I was his age (18). I asked them if I would be able to do it. And if I could, how were we so different. I explained that him just getting what he wanted would set him up for failure in society. I was almost in tears in my dream because I wanted to help him so much and no one saw that. And then I woke up. Was that weird?
